The town of Allison is ideally located on Highway 3 and 14 in Butler County, Iowa between two major Interstate systems and within easy distance of Waterloo, Mason City, Des Moines, Ames, Rochester and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The industrial park now is home to a new Iowa Department of Transportation building and to Allan Industrial Coatings, a major powder coating plant which has recently expanded to offer even more painting and coating techniques.
This expansion is a major source of an increasing flow of business traffic to the area.
